- Account information: name, email address, and password (managed via Clerk).
- Store data: store name, city, product information, and customer data you upload or sync via Shopify.
- Customer data: names, email addresses, purchase history, and lifetime value of your customers.
- Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe — we never store card numbers.
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, and session activity.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Provide and improve the Yap service.
- Generate AI-powered insights and recommendations for your store.
- Send automated win-back emails to your customers on your behalf.
- Send you weekly performance reports and platform updates.
- Process your subscription payments via Stripe.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate Yap:
- Anthropic / OpenAI — AI analysis of your store data.
- Supabase — secure database storage.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Resend — email delivery.
- Clerk — user authentication.
- Vercel — hosting and infrastructure.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing hello@getyap.co.
